The design question
What emerges when the connections between parts become the material of a sculptural study?
The brief
6th Element is an abstract object assembled from a catalogue of curved parts. The curved parts connect in arrangements generated from the catalogue.
The method
The parts and their permitted connections define the space of possible arrangements. Wave Function Collapse selects an arrangement within those constraints. The catalogue, rules, and material treatment are design decisions.
The result
The published render shows one arrangement generated from the catalogue and its connection rules.
Further development
This is a material and form experiment. Fabrication and structural performance would need further development before production.
